Steering Teleauora into a bold new era – our CEO announced

Teleauora is delighted to announce the appointment of Grant Smith as its Chief Executive Officer.

With over 25 years of global experience spanning telecommunications, software development, and infrastructure innovation, Grant brings a rare mix of strategic insight, deep technical expertise, and hands-on delivery leadership.

From humble beginnings as a roof tiler in his teens to leading network transformations and spearheading digital strategies for major energy providers, Grant’s story is one of grit, growth, and groundbreaking leadership.

His career spans continents, from Sweden and Singapore to Southeast Asia and Australia, and includes major roles where he has delivered 2G and 3G networks across the region, leading to IoT operations globally. Ahead of the curve in terms of research, development and innovation, he’s also played key roles in supporting the modernisation of infrastructure to and lay the groundwork for energy-tech convergence.

As a seasoned leader in the digital telco space, Grant is well-positioned to lead Teleauora through its next chapter of growth and innovation – and we’re excited for it.

Under his leadership, Teleauora will continue to push boundaries in a variety of different areas, including:

• private 5G and mmWave which includes expanding the global rollout of Teleauora’s ultra-fast, high-performance wireless networks.

• smart infrastructure which includes connecting communities through intelligent energy, metering, and access systems; and

• global collaboration by bringing together some the best product vendors, solutions and delivery experts under a new, unified and global brand.
